Job Description:

TPS seeks a Member Liaison to act as official representation to our membership. This position will be the main point of contact and advocate for current members and work to enhance and expand member relations. This position therefore blankets all TPS programming. There is a modern, social media component as well as an old-fashioned, hand-shake approach to dealing with our membership, both equally important.

As Program Associate, office and event support is required for all existing programming. This position will assist in improving the processes and functionality of existing programming as well as growing new programs and systems – from concept through the execution to follow-up surveying and reporting.

Marketing needs will be outlined with staff and the Executive Director, and implemented across the organization and all programming. Will include social media management, web and print.

Principal Responsibilities

Member Liaison:
Promote and process new memberships and membership renewals;
Communicate with members regarding programs and opportunities;
Keep web and print membership information current and engaging;
Track/update member event listings for our robust event calendar:;
Social media management and email marketing for members and public outreach.

Program Associate:
Support for Bumbershoot Stage programming;
Support for TPS Unified General Auditions and Regional AEA auditions;
Support for the annual Gregory Awards;
Create/Manage Community Forums;
Detailed program participation tracking and evaluating;
Volunteer coordinating for all programs and TPS needs
Light reception / tech support;
Design and strategize digital and print marketing campaign/initiative for ongoing programs, events and organization branding;
Work closely with Executive Director and staff to develop and clarify TPS branding to execute through marketing campaign/initiative ;
Track, evaluate, and report on marketing initiatives;
Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Attributes – Applicant must have:
Event management background and comfort with occasional public speaking;
The ability to work independently and set priorities for a high output;
Effective communication skills across platforms;
Strong attention to detail;
Graphic design experience
Flexibility, good humor, patience, and a sense of stewardship to our mission;
Orientation to the highest levels of customer service in all endeavors;
Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google applications. We also work with SurveyMonkey, Facebook, Twitter, Constant Contact and a variety of other programs.
Content management experience with Drupal and WordPress.

Terms and Compensation: The position is 40 hr/week. Compensation: $13 per hour. Paid time off and sick leave. Medical and dental insurance available after 90-day probation period. The position is located on Seattle Center campus. This position has no remote or telecommuting options.
