Theatre Puget Sound has a library! As some of you know, a group of dedicated volunteers and TPS staff have been working to improve the library space so that it can be used as a functioning library of play scripts and books on theater. Where is it? It’s in a small room off Studio G on the 4th floor of The Armory at Seattle Center. Turn left from the main hallway and it’s the first room on the right through the doors.
We have a acquired a number of new shelves for the room and in order to fill those shelves, we will be taking in donations of play scripts and other books on theater (including, but not limited to, books on acting, directing, playwriting and technical theater).
The library will be open and accepting donations on:
Saturday 10/4 10am-3pm
Monday 10/6 5-9pm
And even if you don’t have anything to donate, stop in anyway and check out and help spread the word about a new resource open to all members of the Seattle Theater Community.
— We can’t guarantee that we’ll accept everything. If you’re bringing in a box of plays, plan on hanging out for a few minutes while we go through it to see what we need and what we don’t. Only theater-related books will be accepted.
–Books accepted only at scheduled times.
–If you have too large a collection to carry, let us know and we will do our best to be arrange for one of our volunteers to come to you.
The library is locked when not in use. For access, please come to the TPS office: Facility manager office hours : M-W 11a-7 & Sat 10-1 Admin office hours: M-Th 10a-5. For more information, please contact email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you!
