Rob Bergquist appointed new TPS Space 4 Arts Program Manager

TPS is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Bergquist as the Space 4 Arts Program Manager. We welcome his broad knowledge of the Seattle Arts community and are confident that his infectious enthusiasm and commitment to the community will strengthen and grow our facility program that launched in 1999 in partnership with Seattle Center. With this dedicated staff position TPS seeks to expand and improve our service with the goal to accommodate artistic endeavors in an affordable and accessible manner.

Rob has been active in the Seattle theatre scene since moving here in 2004. His homebase during that time has been Ghost Light Theatricals, where he has served as Managing Director since 2008, and directed 8 productions. He has also worked with Annex, 14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival and Pony World Theatre. In addition, he has served as the rental manager for The Ballard Underground (home of Ghost Light Theatricals) since 2010, renting to dozens of groups in the Seattle area. He enjoys spending time with his wife Beth and their almost 1 year old daughter Svea.

“I am very excited to join the amazing team at TPS and look forward to managing and building the Space 4 Arts program. Rehearsal, performance, administrative and meeting space is a vital component to our thriving arts scene and I have a passionate commitment to maintaining the space we have, and sourcing and developing new venues for our community.” – Karen Lane, Executive Director
