This session is being provided specifically to help TPS auditioners put their best foot forward at the 2011 Unified General Auditions. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org so Valerie can have a reliable headcount!
Long time TPS Member and Business Associate, Coach, Consultant, Mentor, Producer, Independent Director and Casting Director, Actor(AEA/SAG/AFTRA), Actor Advocate, and Talent Scout Valerie Mamches, invites a group of interested actors and performing artists to meet with her at Theatre Puget Sound for a special head-start-enabling-session on upcoming TPS Unified Generals and Individual Auditions Season. She’ll begin with a nuts and bolts presentation loaded with tips and imperatives; then open a Q and A conversation. This is a great opportunity to define and gain clarity and understanding about this often baffling, elusive, and maligned actor ritual. To expand and reframe perspective about your process, preparation, and bottom line protocols in various venues, circumstances, and auditioning stages. And to outline plans for building auditions that truly represent your unique skills, abilities and range; while providing auditors the information they require in order to best cast their projects, recommend you to colleagues, or represent you as talent within their institutions and markets. Discussion Includes head shot/resumes; monologue selections; resources.
