Artattack Announces New Capitol Hill Space

Following a well-received production of Criminal Hearts, Artattack Theatre announced today their plans to move into a brand new space located in Capitol Hill.  Previously based in Oregon, Artattack moved to Seattle a few years ago and has primarily used the VoxBox (on Pike St.) as a performance space.

Artistic Director Justin Lockwood could not be happier with the move.  “When you have to turn people away at the door, it’s time to make room for growth,” Lockwood said in the press release. “Our audiences are going to be very comfortable here. It’s a really nice place to see a show.”

The new space seats 40 people and is in the lower level of the “Foundation” building at 1715 E. Olive Way and Harvard Ave and will be called Artattack Theater.  They will be opening their 2010 season with Neil Labute’s Fat Pig.
