2009 Fiscal Pulse Survey

Theatre Communications Group, a national advocacy group for non-profit theatres, has released their annual “fiscal pulse” survey which included responses from over 465 non-profit groups around the U.S.  There were some interesting results, and 23 groups in Washington state responded – good job, guys!

In one of the questions, 78% of theatre groups have implemented more use of technology and social networking, while only 14% have considered joining with other organizations to buy in bulk or collectively bargain for reduced rates.  45% feel the impact of the economic crisis but think things will get better soon, while only 2% felt their organization was in peril.
