Mayoral Candidates Talk Arts

Arts were not a big priority in the mayoral campaigns for Mike McGinn or Joe Mallahan until recently; with over 21,000 professional arts workers in the city (according to The Stranger‘s Brendan Kiley,) the community has stressed to them the importance of a thriving arts scene.

Seattle Channel’s C.R. Douglas met with both candidates at the Seattle Art Museum this week to talk about their views on arts and culture.
