Live Theatre Week: Day 2

Check out these free events happening tonight, the second night of Live Theatre Week:

  • ACT is having a behind-the-scenes look at Rock ‘n’ Roll by Tom Stoppard and KING FM’s Sean MacLean will be interviewing Artistic Director Kurt Beattie.  Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and beverages are provided beginning at 6:00.
  • Stone Soup Theatre is having an open rehearsal of their next show Durang7 at 7pm.  Not only do you get to watch the process, you also receive a coupon for half off a ticket to the performance of Durang7.
  • The Northwest Playwright’s Alliance in conjunction with the Seattle Repertory Theatre will be doing a staged reading of local playwright Elena Hartwell’s A Strange Disappearance of Bees.  7pm.

Tonight is also the Free Night of Theatre for 5th Avenue‘s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Congrats to all who got tickets to that one!
